Indeed.

Very cute "oval" face.

My cat Nuku-Nuku hardly made a noise for the first 14 years. Recently she's gotten quite garrulous.

Chuckling at the title.

Chattering must be that breed's trait. Both my cat and her mother (look similar to Rannie) were always "talking." Mom was named Meow and daughter was named Skreemer.

Our cat Cooney was an adult and mature cat when he was abandoned on my fatherinlaws doorstep. He had already been fixed and declawed. (Cooney, not my fatherinlaw) And he lived there for several years before the Ogwife moved down. And he lived here for seventeen years. So as close as I can determine, he was... let see, carry the four, thirty thousand in cat years. Hope your Rannie lives as long and is as healthy to the end.

Give her a scritch behind the ears from me, willya? I'm sure she is in dire need.

..." with a rich, resonant purr
It sleeks an arch of ardent fur
So vibrantly against my shin;
And as I tickle tilted chin
And rub the roots of velvet ears
Its tail in undulation rears.
Then tremoring with all its might,
In blissful sensuous delight,
It looks aloft with lambent eyes,
Mystic, Egyptianly wise,
And O so eloquently tries
In every fibre to express
Consummate trust and friendliness." Wish I could write like Robert.

I pray she lives as long as our beloved Miss Beethoven, who passed at 23. Miss Caboose and Miss Lil' Bit of Roo each lived to 21 and 22. When you love your cat, they want to stay with you. I'd carry on long conversations with Lil'Bit.
